Ongoing projects

Ongoing projects include:

1st research question only including randomized controlled trials (RCT’s)

Primary analysis:

  1. Effect of CGM on glycaemic control in women with GDM.
  2. Effect of CGM on pregnancy outcomes in women with GDM.
  3. Effect of CGM on participant-reported outcomes in women with GDM.

2nd research question including RCTs, cohort studies with use of (blinded) CGM in women with GDM.

Primary analysis:

Investigate the association between CGM metrics (early/mid and late gestation) with pregnancy outcomes in women with GDM.

3rd research question, postpartum use of CGM in GDM

Primary analysis:

Investigate the association between CGM metrics with glucose intolerance postpartum in women with GDM.

4th research question, data modelling of raw CGM data

Primary analysis:

To determine raw CGM data across diverse pregnancy cohorts, on individual person level, to characterise dynamic glycaemic patterns throughout gestation, using machine-learning techniques, and to identify novel CGM-derived metrics and data-driven glycaemic phenotypes associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes.
